Chapter 7 – Technology Accelerators – If you’ve read my book or worked with me, you know I believe in keeping up with technology.  If they accelerate what you produce, serve or process your product,  your business is better for it.  I am in awe of elevators without elevator operators, telephones without telephone operators. Speeding through the E-Z pass. Streaming movies, skype and computers processing complicated calculations in a second.  Either use technology or sell it but keep up with it in your business.  Just remember, “… technology by itself is never  a primary cause of either greatness or decline.” P.187  “Those who build and perpetuate mediocrity, in contrast, are motivated more by the fear of being left behind.” P.160. Fear is a terrible motivator and is prevalent too much in business and society so do not succumb to it.
